About the Paradise Pool League
The Paradise Pool League was formed to provide an organized system for men, women, and young adults to compete in the sport of pocket billiards. This system was designed to include and promote competitive and fair play, good sportsmanship, and rewards for individual and team play. It is a Billiard Congress of America Pool League (BCAPL)-sanctioned pool league that offers a variety of pool-playing formats to suit everyone, from those new to the sport, to those with years of experience. The intent of PPL is to provide a venue for fellow pool players to meet, share a mutual love for the game and, most of all, to have fun!
What is the Cost?
The cost for an individual to participate in one of our League Divisions consists of an annual $10 BCA Sanction Fee, valid from June 1st through May 31st, of any given year. The Sanction Fee is paid one time by an individual, regardless of the number of divisions in which he or she plays. Addiionally, each player pays nominal weekly dues during regular season play, which contributes to the division's end-of-season prize fund. These dues vary from $8 to $10 per week, depending on the division..
What's in it for You?
ALL adult teams, accross ALL divisions, receive a cash payout at the end of each season, which is determined by the team’s overall standing within each division as of the final week of play. We also reward each teams top individual player, and each division's MVP with cash prizes. Additionally, the number one team from each division will receive a large trophy, as well as smaller trophies for the individual contributors of that team.
Since we believe in rewarding all of our players, we have distributed an average of $18,000 in cash and prizes each season!
